The raw lines of the lino block echo Edinburgh’s medieval geometry as if it was a city coming right out of a folk-tale. This is a limited edition of 100 prints.
The design is drawn by hand straight onto the lino block, then carefully carved out of it, inked with a roller before finally being printed onto a selected luxury Japanese paper by hand using a baren.
Please beware that all prints are individually hand printed and will therefore have each minor variations and imperfections - this is part of the magic of lino printing!
