The wisest animal of the forest, companion of witches, creature of the night, loyal pet and ruthless predator - the owl has earned a somewhat mixed reputation in folk-tales. Yet doesn’t our fascination for them reside in the very elusiveness of their nature, the profoundness of their amber eyes?
Every print is numbered and signed. This is a limited edition of 50 prints.
The design is drawn by hand straight onto the lino block, then carefully carved out of it, inked with a roller before finally being printed onto a selected luxury Japanese paper by hand using a baren.
Please beware that all prints are individually hand printed and will therefore have each minor variations and imperfections - this is part of the magic of lino printing!
