Man in the Moon
Many people see a face when they look at the full moon and this vision has inspired a great number of tales all across the world from Europe to Asia and Canada. While the myths may differ, it is clear that our source of light in the darkness has continues to be an immense source of inspiration for artists.
Every print is numbered and signed. This is a limited edition of 50 prints.
The design is drawn by hand straight onto the lino block, then carefully carved out of it, inked with a roller before finally being printed onto a selected luxury Japanese paper by hand using a baren.
Please beware that all prints are individually hand printed and will therefore have each minor variations and imperfections - this is part of the magic of lino printing!
